The Smartlipo laser utilizes fiber optic technology to permanently melt fat and tighten overlying skin. The procedure begins with the administration of medications to relieve pain and anxiety as well as local anesthesia, which is dispensed through a tube inserted through a tiny needle prick with minimal discomfort to the patient.
