Microneedling and radiofrequency (abbreviated as RF) have become two highly-successful dermal anti-aging therapies for good reasons. Scarlet SRF utilizes microneedling along with short-pulse radiofrequency resulting in increased skin density. When the skin’s density is increased, the appearance of aging is reduced. Scarlet SRF is also implemented as a part of a larger therapy system that can include procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox, and Intense Pulse Light(IPL).
Scarlet SRF uses a process known as the “Na Effect” which was discovered by Dr. Jongju Na. During the treatment, a teardrop-like shape of radiofrequency energy is delivered under the skin to restore its youthful components. This unique delivery of RF underneath layers of skin via microscopic needles is patented technology that will work on patients with any skin color.
Miniature electrodes operate at various treatment depths, and they will draw different amounts of power as needed to sufficiently penetrate through your dermal layers. The entire process is modified and monitored in real-time by our trained staff.
Before the treatment, follow any specific guidelines given to you by your dermatologist or licensed esthetician. Physical discomfort post-treatment is minimal, and the total time that Scarlett SRF takes to perform is approximately 30 minutes. However, the total treatment time will depend on the area size that is being treated, the individual needs of each patient, and if numbing cream is used before the procedure.
